The UART-USB serial adapter is used with the
DSO-06203P Digital Oscillocope
to allow remote PC measurements (bitmap waveform transfers). The adapter can also be used as a general purpose USB to RS-232 converter for your custom projects.
Some soldering is required to connect the adapter to the Digital Scope's serial port. In addition, the adapter can be easily converted into a general purpose AVR micro-controller chip programmer.
A standard Mini-B type USB cable is required (available at additional cost).
