The AIMDROIX Aluminum Arm will improve the performance of your multirotor and will give it a professional look. The arms were designed for aerial video and photography in mind but also for FPV. Because of the extended length, you'll add 100mm in diameter to your multirotor, improving your flight stability and also allowing it to use up to 14 inch props on your quad (12inch for hexa) to lift heavier payloads such as DSLR cameras. The arms have motor mounting slots that allows to use a variety of motor sizes selections from 16mm to 25mm. Also, the arm work as a heat sink, dissipating heat from the motor and transferring it along the arm; making your motors to run cooler.
The arm design was optimized using a finite element analysis software to find where the maximum stress was concentrated, which makes it as light as possible, but much stronger in cases where the stock plastic arm will easily break. Also, the aluminum arms are much stiffer, so they will not flex as the stock plastic arms, allowing a more precise control of the multirotor. With the optional AIMDROIX X8 MOTOR MOUNTS, it will be possible to convert your quad to an X8 configuration allowing you to fly on strong winds and be able to lift even more payload.
There is no need to change you current electronics configuration. Just change the arms and you’ll have a totally different multirotor. You’ll be flying again in less time that it will take you to complete assemble a new multirotor that will have the same features as your DJI Flamewheel with these upgraded arms. No modifications are required to assemble.
