"HIGH DUTY" ARMS EXPANSION SET FOR GOLIATH - SILVER
Background:, As with every H-frame the front and back arms are quite far from each other. With the Goliath, this is not that intense though. Anyway, if you want to carry a high load below the middle, this part of the frame sufferes the highest force. By using this kit, the force is spread over the length of the frame., Disclaimer:, This set is not necessary for over 90% of all users, only in rare cases this even makes sense.,

*Special note from RMRC: This plane flies great, but we have seen some issues with the power system and included hardware, which is why we have discounted the plane. The user should replace the wires between the motor/esc with thicker gauge wire (we recommend 12AWG) and double check the soldering on the bullet connectors, and also should cut open a hole beside the ESC for additional cooling. The best option would be to supply your own 80A ESC based on the results we've seen with the inclulded ESC's Double/triple check all hardware, servo wires, etc. We are pricing this at near the kit price and losing money on these since we are not particularly happy with the included electronics, but once you get it in the air we think you'll be happy with how it flies. We have no idea how other stores can justify charging $300 for the same plane., Some special instructions for this plane:, ,

The mechanism was very easy to use, but has proven to be not as secure as i wanted it to be. There have been crashes reported where the front plate just flew off, which drastically reduces the safety of your GoPro. The search was long for the best mounting option, but finally a screwing solution has proven to be best. By using specially designed knurled screws, the GoPro can be removed just as easy on the field as with the snapping mechanism, and no tools are needed.
