Easy to fly and builds in minutes.
With a little thermal help you can fly the Sky Surfer just about all day on a single battery. The initial climb to thermal altitude is quick due to the powerful outrunner brushless motor. Once at altitude you can pull the throttle and thermal to even higher altitudes. If you prefer you can just enjoy some easy flying, practice your launch and landing, you can even do touch-and-goes off of the grass. It also makes an excellent FPV platform with ample room to mount a CCD video camera and transmission gear.
The Sky Surfer comes complete with everything you need except the transmitter, receiver and lipo charger. It Includes a pre-decorated EPO foam airframe with 1400mm (55") wingspan, 4 micro servos, 1800kv brushless motor, 20A ESC with BEC, 3-cell 11.1V LiPo battery. Assembly is very easy and only takes a half an hour or so. You must supply the radio system of at least 4-channels.
This is an airplane that is easy enough for the beginner but enough fun for the experienced modeler. Functions are Ailerons (2 servos), Elevator, Rudder and Throttle.
