The transmitter and receiver have been upgraded to 2.4Ghz technology, which is more reliable and allows many models to be used at the same time without having to change crystalsas in MHz tx systems.
Not only is it 2.4GHz but this transmitter has an LCD display, it is Walkera's latest model and has many other useful features including the ability for the length or tension of the control sticks to be adjusted.It offers three helicopter flight modes and each flight mode is capable of various settings and parameter adjustments; it has frequency-hopping spread spectrum 2.4G technology and features automatic code pairing and ID assignment.

To add to the realism, though this is a coaxial twin blade helicopter, the tail rotor still spins. So what is a coaxial system? It's a superstable counter rotating system which allows a beginner to experience the satisfaction of flying an rc helicopter without the training, practice and skill required to fly a conventional chopper. Basically the coaxial counter-rotating blades cancel out the rotational torque that makes hovering a conventional helicopter so tricky. With this system you will quickly be able to have the model hovering precisely and maybe using only one finger on the control. Its steering function or rudder is controlled using variation in speed of each level of the rotor blades.
