The E-Maxx’s included 3000mAh Power Cell NiMH batteries unleash the full fury of its waterproof MXL-6s power system. This heavy-duty setup will give your E-Maxx brutally quick acceleration and wheel-lifting torque on the way to over 35mph - and blow by 65mph by installing optional Power Cell 3S LiPo batteries!
Plus, you can add your iPhone or iPod touch (sold separately), and the Traxxas Link application (free on the Apple App store) which displays temperature, speed, voltage, and rpm data on a customizable and recordable virtual dashboard. The Traxxas E-Maxx arrives Ready-to-Run with all necessary telemetry sensors installed. The Traxxas Link App also lets you quickly and easily adjust the TQi’s pro-level features with its high-def, intuitive, touch-screen interface.
The waterproof MXL-6s electronic speed control was built specifically to handle the rigors of large, power-hungry trucks and is ready for 6S LiPo power with its high-efficiency heatsink, massive 6.5mm gold-plated connectors, integrated cooling fan and heavy-duty components. The ESC sends its power pulses to a 75mm, 2200kV motor, specifically designed for maximum reliability and performance, with 6S LiPo power in torque-hungry applications. The aluminum motor can was machined to act as a massive heatsink; high-strength Neodymium magnets give E-Maxx Brushless Edition outrageous torque, while its high-grade bearings deliver maximum efficiency. A beefy 5mm shaft transfers power to the Brushless-Ready transmission, to resist the twist.
