Precise interlocking design with plenty of preassembly ensures a short box-to-flight line time of only 18-25 hours. Liberal use of fiberglass maintains the Mustang's scale lines without extra effort. Boasts details worthy of a static display model ? but is ready to "scramble"? with realistic military maneuvers in the air!
Legendary Gold Edition quality combines with time-saving ARF construction, resulting in a great-looking and scale-flying warbird model. The P-51D mechanical retracts are made of composite material. Included mechanical retracts made of high-quality composite material add realism to runway takeoffs and landings. Flaps are already built into the wings; all you have to do is install your servos.
The P-51D Mustang has adjustable engine mount for either a 2- or 4-stroke engine. An adjustable mount is included for accommodating either a 2-stroke .60-.91 or 4-stroke .91-1.20 engine.
Assembly of the distinctive Mustang oil cooler detail under the wing has been simplified by using quality fiberglass. An aluminum spinner and molded dummy exhaust pipes add to the authenticity. Prepainted fiberglass offers a more true-to-scale chin cowl appearance without extra effort. The P-51D has a detailed cockpit including decals for the instrument panel and autopilot.
