It's lighweight and compact sized Rubber Duck style antenna with about +2dBi RF gain. Omnidirectional, half-wave dipole design with internal counterpoise. 5.6 inches (142mm) long. The short length and outstanding performance makes it ideal for installations where small size is important.
Articulated swivel mechanism allows the antenna to be used with straight, 45 degree, and right angle installations. Rugged plastic covering protects the aerial. Standard SMA plug.
Because its upper element uses a helical design, this antenna is much shorter than similar ducky style whips. But don't let its small size fool you -- it has very good performance and you might notice that your transmitter will run a bit cooler too.
The AN902RD is almost the same siza as the little AN2403 2.4GHz antenna
