This 5.8GHz / 200mW wireless video transmitter is ideal for hobby robotic or R/C model applications that need to avoid frequency conflicts that affect the usual 900MHz - 2.4GHz systems. It is compact, lightweight, and has a wide operating voltage.
It has a flexible mono audio input too. Most installations will prefer the built in microphone. However, the microphone can be disabled (just turn the mic volume control to minimum) and external line-level audio can be fed into the A/V cable. The external audio method is perfect for an audio based telemetry system or installations that require a more sensitive microphone.
Your purchase includes the TX5.8-200 transmitter, RP-SMA equipped +2dBi dipole ducky antenna, JST/BEC style power cable, and bare wire A/V cable (soldering required). The photo near the bottom of the page shows all the provided items. Specifications and Features

Important: This transmitter is NOT compatible with the Airwave brand 5.8GHz receivers. You must use the #RC305-5V or #RC305-12V receiver (not included).
The operating range will depend on the environment, installation, and other factors. As a guideline, using a 5-8dBi Patch antenna on the recommended RC305 series receiver will provide up to 700 meters in wide open line-of-sight environments. Obstructions and interference sources will severely reduce its range.
Notice: This is a ham radio hobby type product. Using the TX5.8G-200 in the USA and most other countries will require an Amateur Radio license. Some countries may forbid its use. It is your responsibility to ensure that its use meets the requirements imposed by your government’s RF spectrum regulations.
